The Emitech Group inaugurates its battery test centre in Beaumont-le-Roger, Normandy, France on 2 October 2026
On Friday 2 October 2026, the Emitech Group will inaugurate its new battery and mobility systems test centre in Beaumont-le-Roger (Eure), one of Europe’s largest sites dedicated to battery testing.
Set on a site covering 4 hectares with 4,000 m² of buildings, this centre represents an investment of €4 million and houses a wide range of testing facilities dedicated to batteries, modules and cells: cycling, abuse testing, thermal runaway, compression, drop testing, IPX7 immersion, spray testing, battery assessment and more.
These facilities cater to all sectors: automotive, aerospace, defence, rail, energy and consumer electronics. Beyond testing, the site showcases the Group’s comprehensive offering: engineering, test bench design and control software development, complementing our other laboratories.
The opening day will bring together clients, partners, institutional representatives and the press for presentations by the Group’s management and key players in the electric mobility sector, followed by a tour of the site and its testing facilities.
