The IECEE OC scheme is recognized in 53 countries worldwide, with more than 120,000 OC certificates issued each year.
Our certification body, Emitech Certification, offers to conduct your OC testing directly at your facilities through the CTF (Customer’s Testing Facilities) program.
This partnership involves several steps:
- An initial audit, based on the ISO 17025 standard, verifies the technical competence of your teams, the metrological traceability of your test equipment, and control of environmental conditions.
- Once the standards and tests have been defined, the initial tests (Phase 1) are conducted at your facility by our staff, using either your equipment or ours.
- If you have the necessary equipment and expertise, the tests can then be performed by your team under Emitech’s supervision (control tests – Phase 2).
- Finally, after a certain period of time and once trust has been established, you can move on to stages 3 and 4, which will allow you greater autonomy and technical proficiency.
An annual activity report is prepared and a record is filed on the IECEE website.
